Bowling and your best

How many of us enjoy to bowl? Have you ever went bowling, and noticed that you were the one getting better scores than the rest? Have you ever been the one that bowls the lowest score in the group? How do you feel when you are at the highest score, the lowest score, the middle score even? Do you get down on yourself for not doing your best? Are you happy with your score even if it wasn't as high as the person you came and bowled with?
I sometimes wonder if I didn't bowl when I was younger, whether I would still enjoy the game... I am certainly not the best at it but I am a fair competitor. If you average out my scores, I am around 150 each time. I don't think that is wonderful, but I also don't think that is really bad either. It's just like how you get it, I say that it is average. In fact, it is the exact middle between a perfect game and the lowest you can possibly get, a zero. I do get down on myself when I don't do my best and at least hit that number, but I guess that is because I know I can do better and I try to figure out the obstacles in my life that are stopping me. Are there obstacles in your life that are stopping you from doing your absolute best in something? Are you trying to figure out what they are so that you can fix them, and get your better results?
Remember that even though you may not be the best at something, and somebody else is more than likely better at it than you, remember that it's not about whose better... It's about whether or not you are doing your personal best and if you are, than that is all that truly matters!
