Trick-Or-Treat

It is that spooky scary time of the year, when everyone comes looking for treats, and scaring you with thier looks... Enough about the family visiting... (just kidding!) The kids will be out knocking on doors and chanting "trick or treat" in hopes of some kind of sweets falling into their bags. I normally stay at home and watch some Halloween movies, though I usually don't see any of the scary ones. Fox Family and Disney play some of the toned down movies that are great for families. This year, I have talked to Toast and he has agreed to let me come watch the kids around his neighborhood. I hope to live in a bigger neighborhood in the next few years so that I can pass out candy to the kids as they come to my door. I have always enjoyed seeing all the well-thought out costumes that kids pick to wear. I can't wait to see all the different outfits that the kids pick and what they do when they come up to a house where the person giving candy is pretty much motionless until they get close enough to take the candy. Toast told me that the kids usually can't figure out if he is real or not, until they get closer and he moves a little. He doesn't want to scare the little kids, but he loves to harass the older kids that don't look like they should be out trick-or-treating. After the trick or treating, we plan to watch a movie or something before I head home and get some sleep...

"Grin grinning ghosts, come out to socialize.
Now don't close your eyes, and don't try to hide
for a scary spook may sit by your side..."
- From Disney's Sing-A-Long Songs
(I remember this from the old days,
when I was younger...)
